Introducing… The Fairy Gyroscopic Hoop-o-Matic. Designed to enhance aerodynamic agility, refine flight control, strengthen core stability and improve balance.
STORY: Hugo knows that the key to flight finesse is proficient hooping.
As a child I would hula hoop for hours. We would set up obstacle courses to negotiate whilst hooping, hold competitions and exchange toys as prizes. I made fairy sized hula hoops a long while ago, but the wall format didn’t work for this idea. I recently stumbled on a solution for their display and here they are!
SPECIFICATION: He wears a grey and brown flight suit, flight goggles, earmuffs and has striking striped wings. Each hula hooper is mounted on a round wooden plinth, painted in ‘Frenchic’ palette paint. This sculpture is designed to be freestanding rather than wall-mounted. Each base features tiny bespoke leather pads to stop wobble and ensure stability. A typed fairy name label is mounted on each plinth, and a separate title label is included, allowing for optional display. The underside of each base is signed and dated, and every piece comes with a certificate of authenticity.
